A Cafe Named After Baby Miguel

"They opened a beautiful alfresco garden cafe during the pandemic — a leap of faith that became an instant neighborhood favorite."

Richard and Michelle Santiago — the couple behind Ineng's Special BBQ and Santiago Filipino Restaurant — named their newest venture after their son, Miguel. When the first branch opened in Mabitac, Laguna during COVID-19, it was a bold act of hope. The formula worked beautifully.

The Antipolo branch followed in August 2021, nestled in Sitio Hopeville along Sumulong Highway. People came for the garden — the A-frame wooden canopy strung with globe lights, the rattan furniture, the lush open air. They stayed for the food. In late 2025, Miguel's declared itself "Home of the Fresh Pan Dough," doubling down on the handcrafted pizza crust that started it all.

Loved by Every Table

From birthday surprises to mango shakes that taste like real fruit — here's what our guests remember most about dining at Miguel's.

Staff were accommodating and friendly, and they even sang Happy Birthday to our friend. The whole experience made it feel genuinely special — not just a meal but a real memory.

Wanderlog · Antipolo Branch

Mango shake was super refreshing and tasted like real ripe mangoes. You can tell everything here is made with care — nothing feels factory-made or mass-produced. That matters.

Chill vibes, IG-worthy spaces, and delicious food — this is one of the best alfresco dining destinations in Antipolo. The garden setting alone is worth the drive up Sumulong Highway.
